I went down to Rochester to meet with Aimee, Tim and their adorable son, Aidan, to make engagment/family photographs! They brought me on a tour of downtown Rochester and then out the Windy Acres Farm, where they will be getting married at later this month. I had a wonderful time getting to know them and hearing about the plans for their special day. Aidan helped me out by helping to give me silly face ideas! I had a blast and I can't wait for your special day!

2010 PhotoChallenge | march {signs} april {down low} may {flowers}

I have been behind on my PhotoChallenge posts!  So I am going to condense the last three months into one post!

The theme for March especially excited me! SIGNS! I ♥ signs. Especially vintage and distressed signs.  Can you think of any signs that you especially enjoy?

Aprils theme is Down Low.  This theme is more aimed at composition rather than subject.  This is quiet possibly my favorite theme because this is my favorite angle to take photos from!  I actually have a video from Thailand that shows this.  Matt was so intrigued by my photographic style that he followed me around an island making a video of me taking photos from 'down low.' So needless to say the video does not paint my derriere in the best light!

The theme for May is Flowers.  I hope you enjoy!  I couldn't resist posting more of the poppies that I found in Matt's backyard.

Aunt Sarah wanted to surprise her sister, Michelle, on her 40th birthday by having pictures made of her daughters Emily, Grace and Olivia made!  We were able to meet up and go to a park by Sarah's house.  All three girls are big into sports and were 'good sports' . . .  and gorgeous too!  Thanks, girls!

I had a wonderful time at the Johnsons' house photographing their little guy! Thomas is almost a year and a half and he sure is BUSY! I forgot just how much they move at that age!  Check out his wee little Converse One Stars!  I ♥ them!  I was also able to sneak a few quick shots of two of their three dogs, Maddie and Stella . . .

On the first beautiful day of Spring, I met Michelle and Jake and their two weiner dogs, Brody and Jake Jr. (JJ) downtown. Michelle had wanted photos of her and "her three weens" and some shots of downtown for her new office. And I did get to sneak in some "marriage-type photos," as Jake liked (or didn't like?) to call them. :)  I am posting these under "engagements," but I want to be clear, that these are not their engagement photos.

It was such a gorgeous day; the sun was shining and the breeze was slight. I actually even broke a sweat! I am looking forward to a wonderful Minnesota Summer!

miles | bébé + family {minneapolis baby + family photographer}

I went over to the Prochazka home to make photographs of the newest family member, Miles. Miles was only two weeks old, but was surprisingly aware and strong! Susannah and Dan welcomed me into their home and were so kind and easy-going. I had such a wonderful time with this lovely family! Thank you for having me over!
